Spanning 250 meters underground from Park Street to Bathurst St, once completed will intricately connect the bustling Pitt and Castlereagh Streets, seamlessly integrating retail and commercial facilities.
Melbourne’s public transport ticketing system, known as myki, is undergoing significant upgrades to enhance user convenience and modernize its infrastructure. The Victorian Government is introducing new payment options, including contactless credit and debit card payments, allowing passengers to ‘tap on and tap off’ using their existing bank cards or smartphones. This initiative aims to simplify access for both regular commuters and visitors, reducing the reliance on physical myki cards.
